An Engineer, specialized in project management in the Space domain and in quality management, René Duc has spent most of his career in CEA.

René Duc was the project manger of numerous space experiments, embedded scientific instruments, in partnership with the European Space Agency and the Centre National des Etudes Spatiales. René Duc is also a specialist in designing and implementing space projects.

He has vast experience of management methods in the Supervisory team of an important sector of fundamental research: implementation of a quality approach defined with the Director, the creation of the project quality data base (Research activities, steering of research projects and "projets to build", facility management), overseeing quality organization.

René Duc was one of the authors of the Methodological Repository for projects in CEA. He has been involved in the promotion of good practices for project management and quality in research. He is experienced in supporting project managers, and in the preparation and implementation of reviews and audits.
